Although Kobe Bryant’s Protro ethos has made its way into the lifestyle realm with Air Force 1 and Dunk colorways, Nike still plans to offer standard AF1s under the Nike Kobe line. For 2025, The Swoosh has prepped colorways like White, Black, and Cargo Khaki, with more easy-to-wear renditions like the Cool Grey expected in 2026. Adding to the Summer 2026 lineup that includes a Summit White Daybreak colorway, the Kobe Bryant Nike Air Force 1 will get a Steam makeover.
In Nike’s ever-evolving wheel of colors, “steam” is a light-ish green color, and with this new Kobe AF1 having steam as its primary color, we expect to see the hue across most of the upper. Pictured in our speculative mock-up are accenting hits of summit white on the laces, tongue, sockliner, heel tab, Swoosh, AIR branding on the heel, and outsole. Kobe’s sheath logo comes debossed on the lateral heel, while his jersey number 8 appears on the heel tab of the right shoe. Final details include a Kobe signature on the tongue tag and his sheath on the heel tab of the left shoe.
Plenty of other Nike Kobe Air Force 1s are hitting shelves throughout the next calendar year. For 2026, we have pairs like the Cool Grey Lower Merion Aces Pack launching in the standard AF1 build. Protro colors include Linen University Blue, Black Lemon Venom, Sail Pinksicle, and Work Blue Metallic Gold.
The Nike Kobe Air Force 1 Low Steam will be released Summer 2026 through Nike and select retailers online and in-store. Available in men’s sizing, the retail price is set at $120. Download the to stay updated on the latest releases, raffles, news, and more in the sneaker and streetwear world.
