Nike has slowly been dripping teasers of its latest performance basketball silhouette, the Nike GT Future, since it was first sighted on the feet of Wale and AJ Dybantsa during NBA All-Star Weekend back in February. Wale has become the de facto face of the model, which, in all honesty, will likely be a bigger hit off the court than on it. While there are a handful of pairs expected in the latter part of 2025, Sole Retriever can report that a Hyper Pink colorway of the sneaker is set to drop Summer 2026.
The Y2K-inspired silhouette that pulls direct design influences from the Foamposite and Hyperflight continues its two-tone look with this all-new colorway. Foamposite material molded with striations and concave ridges comes coated entirely in hyper pink, while black accents pop on the lateral Swoosh on the collar and the perforated portion of the medial midfoot. More black hues dominate the tongue, sockliner, and the internal bootie.
Even though the model checks all the boxes for off-the-court, based on the tech specs provided by Nike, it will also be a solid choice for hooping. Embedded within the sole unit is a full-length Zoom Strobel unit, a forefoot Air Zoom unit, and full-length Cushlon 3.0 foam. Finishing the design is the black rubber outsole.
The Nike GT Future Hyper Pink will release Summer 2026 through Nike and select retailers online and in-store. Available in men’s sizing, the retail price is set at $200.
