UK streetwear label Corteiz, founded by the mysterious Clint, has moved past its legal disputes with Nike to become an official collaborator with the sportswear giant. Their previous drops captivated the sneaker community, which includes three colorways of the Air Max 95, Sequoia, Aegean Storm, and Pink Beam, with the partnership being a highlight of 2023. According to Brandon1an, the Air Max 95 will again get the Corteiz treatment with a Black Tour Yellow pair later this year. On top of this new AM 95, Corteiz has also worked on a three-pack of Air Huarache Trainers.
The Corteiz x Nike Air Max 95 Honey Blacks maintains the model's signature aesthetics while infusing it with the streetwear brand's distinctive edge. The sneaker features mesh netting and wavy leather overlays, colored in a sleek black that serves as the perfect backdrop for the vibrant tour yellow accents. Corteiz's influence is unmistakably present through the yellow branding on the tongue tag, lateral mudguard, and heel, making a bold statement against the darker tones of the shoe.
