Kobe Bryant’s love for soccer started at a young age during his time spent in Italy. Though he was a proclaimed supporter of AC Milan, his La Liga team was always FC Barcelona, with the Kobe x Barca connection cemented on multiple occasions over the last two-plus decades. This has even crossed over into footwear, as we’ve seen Bryant’s Nike Kobe line team up with the Spanish football club on the Kobe 6. Following looks at an upcoming Nike Kobe Air Force 1 Low in collaboration with FC Barcelona; images of a Barcelona Nike Kobe 4 have appeared.
Done in a color palette of team gold, black, and Persian Violet, the hues of this Kobe 4 match FC Barcelona’s upcoming third kit. Most of the upper comes in team gold, including the perforated leather toebox, fused midfoot panel, mesh tongue, leather tongue patch, and the faux reptile skin overlays on the mudguard, collar, and heel. Pops of Persian Violet are located on the Kobe sheath logo atop the tongue, the sockliner, and the FC Barcelona crest on the lace dubrae, the interior of the tongue, and the insole.

The upper is completed with a black midfoot Swoosh outlined in purple, a black heel counter with Kobe’s signature in purple on the right shoe, and Kobe’s two jersey numbers, 8 and 24, debossed into the heel tab of the left and right shoe, respectively. A gradient midsole sits below, starting in solid purple near the toe and transitioning into team gold as you move back.
