Hope you rang it in right, because we have to drop a bit of less-than-good news on you.Effective yesterday (January 1st, 2020) Nike & Jordan Brand will no longer permit retailers to ship products “outside of their trading territory.” Per Highsnobiety, the news first came to light a few months ago when emails from Nike to its retail partners leaked. The new policy has been confirmed by numerous Nike retail partners, including Foot District. In a Twitter post today, Foot District announced that they would no longer be able to ship Nike products internationally... According to Nike, “Shipping to consumers internationally is in violation of Nike Terms & Conditions of Sale. Violation of Nike’s distribution policies may result in corrective actions up to and including discontinuing Retailer access to Nike products.”But have no fear! You can still enter raffles and cop the latest Nike releases in 2020 regardless of your native region. The key to bypassing this new policy? Reshippers.
What is a Reshipper?
A reshipper (also known as a freight forwarder or parcel forwarding service) is a company that accepts products on your behalf, then forwards the product to you. Reshippers come in handy when a retailer doesn’t ship to the country in which you reside by providing you with an address in a country that the retailer does service. While freight forwarders can be helpful when faced with restrictive shipping areas or regional releases, it is important to go with a reputable provider.

Tenso is a Japanese based reshipper that makes it easy to buy sneakers, streetwear and other products from Japan and forward on to most of the world. We at Sole Retriever have personally used them numerous times when purchasing limited sneakers off of DSMJP and have had zero issues. Tenso also has a 4 out of 5 star rating on Trustpilot. Pricing depends on the forwarding country and size of package, and you can use their calculator for an estimate. To sign up for Tenso you will need to provide an email address, your name, DOB, & country of residence. Japanese law requires all reshippers to verify the identity of its customers prior to forwarding a package to its end destination. Tenso will give you a Japanese address to use after signup, but to get your packages you will need to verify your identity by submitting one of the following forms of identification:

Signing up for Forward2Me is easy and free. All that is required is your name, email, & country of residence. We suggest that you sign up and complete your profile prior to release to give you ample time to get verified. Rushing on release day is never a good idea.
Reshipping from Canada to Rest of World:
Reship
Reship allows you to have addresses in Canada, the US, & UK. We ONLY suggest that you use Reship for their Canadian forwarding services. They are not cheap and don’t have very good reviews on Trustpilot. That said, they do forward to a large number of countries and are one of the few freight forwarders that ship from Canada. Reship is free to sign up for. They have a few different membership options to reduce cost of shipping if you’re buying in bulk or purchase sneakers from Canada often. All Reship requires is an email and name.

Tiptrans
Tiptrans is one of our favorite reshippers. They offer freight forwarding from China, Hong Kong, Czech Republic, Germany, and the UK. They are affordable and forward to hundreds of different countries. Their rating on Trustpilot is pretty solid and their only shortcoming is that customer service can be slow to respond. To sign up, you must select a membership plan (one is free). After you select your preferred plan all you need is your name, phone number, shipping address, and email. Upon completion you will have a forwarding address in China, Hong Kong, Czech Republic, Germany, & the UK.
