De’Aaron Fox Pays Tribute to Kentucky Wildcats with Under Armour Curry Fox 2 Lexington

When De’Aaron Fox set the NCAA basketball tournament on fire in 2016, leading the Kentucky Wildcats to the Elite Eight, the rules forbade him from signing a sneaker deal and making money off his name. Things have taken a complete 180 in college sports since then, and luckily, Fox is still a superstar, and he can still rep his alma mater on the court, dropping a new Lexington blue colorway of his Under Armour Curry Fox 2.

Named after the city that houses the Kentucky campus, the Under Armour Curry Fox 2 Lexington features a blue upper in reinforced mesh and TPU panels. The forefoot strap is black with a white Fox logo to match the black and white speckled pattern on the zig-zagging midsole. The laces are alternating white and blue, and the tongue is made of plush blue suede with Curry Brand logos embroidered in blue. Underfoot sits a black UA Flow midsole and outsole.

The first signature athlete signed to Under Armour’s Curry Brand (besides Steph Curry, of course), Fox had a hit with his first shoe, and kept the design elements very similar on the sequel, with the forefoot strap becoming a signature of the Fox series. Unfortunately, the University of Kentucky has been a longtime Nike partner, so you won’t be seeing any Wildcat players suiting up in the Lexington Fox 2 this season.

The Under Armour Curry Fox 2 Lexington will be released September 12, 2025 through Under Armour and select retailers in-store and online. Available in men’s sizing, the retail price is set at $120.
