Justin Jefferson Shows Off Louis Vuitton-Inspired Under Armour Cleats
So far this NFL season, making sneaker news off the field is a good indication of on-field success. First, Josh Allen announced a new deal with New Balance before an insane comeback primetime win. Then Travis Hunter debuted the AE1 Cleat in warm-ups before a rare Jacksonville Jaguars victory, and finally, Justin Jefferson showed up for warm-ups before Monday Night Football in a pair of gold Louis Vuitton-inspired Under Armour cleats and, you guessed it, walked away with a win.
The gilded cleats were a player edition exclusive from Under Armour made to celebrate Jefferson’s 99 rating in Madden 2026. The NFL has a lot of performance awards, from MVP to Pro Bowl selections, but with only seven 99 ratings in this year’s version of the game, having the highest ranking in Madden is an even more exclusive club than being a Pro Bowler.
The all-gold cleat shines bright from every angle, but it's the details that really catch the eye. Replicating an LV monogram pattern, UA substituted the symbols with Jefferson’s jet logo, JJ logos, UA logos, and fleur-de-lis to represent Jefferson’s Louisiana upbringing and LSU college career. For even more personal flair, Jefferson’s nickname, Jetta, is written in script across the heel.
Jefferson switched into a pair of purple and gold UA cleats for the game to better match the Vikings’ road uniforms, but golden luck didn’t stop at warm-ups, with Jefferson catching his first touchdown of the season Monday night. You won’t be able to wear this pair unless you get your own Madden 99 rating, and we don’t see that happening anytime soon.
