SEGA stands as a cornerstone of the gaming industry, with Sonic the Hedgehog serving as its equivalent of Disney’s Mickey Mouse. The face of SEGA has graced many console generations, the silver screen, and multiple footwear releases over the years. While previously teaming up with Reebok and Crocs to bring the character to life, SEGA has tapped Timberland for an ultra-limited Sonic the Hedgehog x Timberland 6-Inch Boot.
Commemorating SEGA’s first flagship store in Japan, the SEGA Store Tokyo in Shibuya is the aforementioned 1-of-30 Timberland 6-Inch Premium Waterproof Boot and accompanying apparel. Starting with the boot, the classic Timb design is virtually untouched as the “yellow” wheat nubuck upper is paired with tonal stitching, a black leather collar, and metallic eyelets. Sonic’s blue shade graces the lace set, while depictions of the character are found on the added hang tag and on the lateral side of the collar. Final details include Sonic the Hedgehog logos stamped on the medial side and a gum sole unit.

As for the apparel, SEGA and Timberland have produced two colors of long-sleeve and short-sleeve T-shirts. Both feature Sonic wearing a pair of Timbs with blue laces to match his appearance alongside co-branded logos for the franchise and Timberland. The clothing is also extremely limited, with each piece available in only 50 per color.
The Sonic the Hedgehog x Timberland 6-Inch Boot and apparel will release exclusively at the new SEGA Store Tokyo on August 9, 2025.
