The Nike Pegasus Premium Anthracite Black Releases Fall 2025

To the surprise of many, one of Nike’s hottest silhouettes is not a retro design but an all-new performance-oriented silhouette — the Nike Pegasus Premium. That’s what the brand has been aiming to achieve, especially under the guidance of new CEO Elliot Hill. Sell-out after sell-out has occurred with virtually every colorway, and the same is likely the case for the all-new Anthracite Black rendition of the Peg Premium.

The lightweight circular knit upper of the Pegasus Premium is split in half between two different patterns rendered in a black finish for this particular pair. A fused TPU seam runs the length of the upper and splits these patterns in half, passing by the metallic black Swoosh on the lateral midfoot and the Zoom Air text that comes on the medial side of the upper. Plush neoprene around the tongue gets added comfort via the perforated holes, allowing for even more airflow on the performance runner.

While most of the sneaker is dipped in darker hues, pops of bright crimson accent the Pegasus Premium branding details along the tongue, the coordinates on the medial side of the eyelets (which leads you to Blue Ribbon Sports’ first retail location in Santa Monica, California), and on the Pegasus wings logo on the heel tab. Underfoot, the midsole comes stacked with three different cushioning technologies, including full-length ZoomX and Zoom Air, and a hit of ReactX in the heel.

The Nike Pegasus Premium Anthracite Black will release in Fall 2025 through Nike and select retailers online and in-store. Available in men’s sizing, the retail price is set at $220, a $10 increase from the original retail price, thanks to the recent price hikes from Nike.
