The New Balance 1000 proves that designs can be ahead of their time. When it was first released at the turn of the century, the performance runner saw little success, causing New Balance to end production only three years into its lifecycle. Over twenty years later, the sneaker is now a hit for NB, launching in many GR and collaborative makeovers. The latest NB 1000 comes to us exclusively via JD Sports, which is launching a Black Tiffany Blue color on the model.
Not an official collaboration with the famed jeweler Tiffany & Co., this NB 1000 uses an aqua blue shade for its accenting details, similar to the Tiffany Blue hue that has become so famous. The black and blue palette also aligns with other JD Sports exclusive releases from Nike, including an AF1 and Air Max 90. Going back to the 1000, we see a grey mesh base paired with black suede panels on the toe and bottom half of the upper and a metallic silver panel on the top portion.
