Jordan Brand has big plans for 2025 as it marks the 40th Anniversary of the Air Jordan line. The celebration is expected to be massive, with a lineup including classic retros and fresh new colorways. Among the anticipated releases are multiple colorways of the Air Jordan 5 Retro. On top of the A Ma Maniere collab and the Black Metallic Reimagined, 2025 features a Sail Luminous Green colorway.
On-foot images reveal the pair comes primarily coated in sail leather, with one major change to the sneaker: no plastic midfoot cage. Instead, the panel is done in perforated leather. Luminous green accents appear on the lace set, Jumpman on the tongue, and the embroidered 23 on the lateral heel.

A smoky grey-black finish is applied to the lace lock, while the toggle is done in luminous green. Final details on the upper include tonal sail TPU eyestays and luminous green pops on the sockliner and tongue lining. Down below sits a black rubber midsole with luminous green shark teeth near the forefoot and a black and milky semi-translucent rubber outsole.
The Air Jordan 5 Retro Sail Luminous Green W is set to release on August 30, 2025, through Nike and select Jordan Brand retailers online and in-store.
