Sneaker brands are getting back to basics. After years of overnight camp-outs and line parties, sneaker brands and stores stopped focusing on in-person releases to try to create a little more equity online. But with in-store drops feeling retro, brands are going back to the tried and true method of making sneakerheads stand outside for hours on end. For its latest Nike collab, Amsterdam-based Patta is leaning into the best of both worlds.

The Patta x Nike Air Max DN8 Pack features six colorways, and we’ve recently gotten word about release dates for four of them. Going the modern route, the Blue and Sand colorways will be released online via the SNKRS app and through select boutiques. The Peach and Volt pairs, though? Well, those will only be accessible at a three-pronged pop-up experience in LA, a separate event in Marseille, France, and a final drop in Seoul, South Korea.

Patta covered the futuristic Air Max DN8 in solid colors of patent leather, with slight contrast on the mesh side panels in grey on the forefoot and in black on the heel. Patta logos are found on the tongue, in a visible Air bubble in the heel, and on a branded carabiner accessory that sits across the laces. As for the black and white pairs that we have seen in previous previews, there’s still no word on those release dates. Would you be willing to travel to a pop-up for those pairs, too?

The Patta x Nike Air Max DN8 Pack Blue and Sand will be released October 1, 2025 through SNKRS and select retailers in-store and online. The Volt and Peach colorways will only be available in Los Angeles on September 26 and 27 at Union, Awake NY, and Kids of Immigrants stores, on October 3 and 4 at Saison in Marseille, France, and on October 17 and 18 at Worksout in Seoul, Korea.
