Earlier in the week, reports emerged that Nike was planning on updating prices on sneakers and apparel in response to President Donald Trump's tariffs. While it initially stated the increases, which range between $2 and $10, would go into effect on June 1, Nike quietly rolled out these price hikes on the morning of May 23, both online and in-store.

Checking through Nike’s website, select Nike and Jordan Brand sneakers have seen price increases, though some remain the same. The recently released Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG UNC Reimagined dropped on May 10 and was initially priced at $180. Now, Nike’s site has it listed for $185. Another recently released Air Jordan Retro, the Air Jordan 12 Melo, is now priced at $205, a $5 increase from its initial retail price just last week.

Nike sneakers like the Air Max DN8 have gone up $10, now retailing for $200, although one pair is still listed at $190 at the time of this writing. Basketball sneakers, like A’ja Wilson’s new Nike A’One signature sneaker, were priced at $110 when they were first released, but now nike.com has them listed for $115. Other shoes, like the Luka 4, Sabrina 2, KD 18, Ja 2, Vomero 18, and more, have also seen a $5 increase.

While the aforementioned sneakers have seen price increases, some pairs have not. The upcoming Air Jordan 4 Retro White Cement, releasing tomorrow, May 24, is still priced at $225. The Jordan 3 Retro Rare Air is also still priced at $210.

In the future, expect to see most, if not all, Jordan retros and other Nike and Jordan Brand sneakers priced over $100 to cost $5 or $10 more than we've become accustomed to paying.
