The 990 is, without question, one of the most storied lineups in sneaker history. First introduced by the New England sportswear giant in 1982, its legacy has only grown stronger over the decades. The 990v6 – one of the newer entries, debuting three years ago for the silhouette’s 40th anniversary – has already built a loyal cult following. That’s thanks to grail-worthy collabs with the likes of Action Bronson and Carhartt WIP, as well as standout inline colorways like the upcoming New Balance 990v6 Made in USA Dark Camo Incense.
Anchored by an Incense mesh base, this 990v6 is layered with perforated leather across the toebox and rich Dark Camo pigskin that wraps around the lacing system, heel, and mudguards. Natural Indigo suede frames the collar, complemented by oversized “N” logos on the lateral and medial sides for that classic NB punch.

Being part of the legendary 990 family, it has running DNA injected into its blood. The chunky midsole down below is made from FuelCell foam, which is usually reserved for New Balance's most advanced track shoes. And if all that wasn’t enough, every pair is proudly crafted in NB's factories right here in the US of A – a testament to the company's ongoing commitment to quality, craftsmanship, and heritage.
The New Balance 990v6 Made in USA Dark Camo Incense will release August 28, 2025. It'll be available via New Balance and select retailers both online and in-store in men's sizing for $200.
