New Balance Unveils Teddy Santis' Fall/Winter 2025 Made in USA Collection

Even while helming his Aimé Leon Dore brand, which continues to collaborate frequently with New Balance, Teddy Santis somehow finds time to steer the ship for NB’s Made in USA division. Each year is marked with two seasonal collections, one for Spring/Summer and another for Fall/Winter, which is now officially unveiled.
This season, the New Balance 997, 992, and 990v6 play pivotal roles in the collection, with a surprise entry in the lineup, the New Balance 1300. For those unaware, New Balance brings back the 1300JP, a recreation of an original 1300 colorway with ultra-premium construction, every five years. The model in its original form is reserved for this drop, but the label had released GR renditions of the silhouette up until 2016. Since then, it’s been quite rare for the 1300 to hit shelves. However, in 2020, New Balance released around 25 different colorways of the sneaker.
Across the nine sneakers, New Balance takes inspiration from seasons changing for the color palettes. Lighter shades are found in the early drops, while the colors shift to darker, natural tones as the calendar turns over to winter months. The first release, taking place on August 28, will feature the New Balance 990v6 and 992 Dark Camo.

Drop two in September is limited to just one sneaker: the New Balance 992 Dusk Shower. The pair's premium pigskin suede upper features a sky blue color palette, contrasted by deeper blues on the mesh base. A month later, drop three will feature two colorways of the 990v6 in earthy fall-ready shades. This includes the Dark Camo Rich Oak rendition, which places olive and brown tones across the nubuck and mesh silhouette, and the Driftwood Timberwolf, which uses tan and cream shades.
A few weeks after the late October release, drop four in November will contain a single New Balance 997. The color palette shifts away from the dull and drab earthy tones of the previous release to a sunny yellow and cream. Day turns to night for drop five with the quickstrike release of the 992 Dark Ice Wine, which uses a premium purple pigskin suede for most of its upper and black mesh for its base.

Finally, the seasonal collection is complete in December with the release of the 1300 Rich Earth and 992 Driftwood Mushroom. Here, the 1300 is drenched in chocolate brown and contrasted by tan and cream, while the 992 features a faux snakeskin upper in tan.
