KidSuper Lives Out Childhood Dream with New Puma Collection
We’ve all had that pair that got away. Whether you were a kid begging your parents for the newest must-have shoe to no avail, or you came up short on a raffle you waited months for, there are at least a few pieces still missing from all of our collections. For KidSuper designer Colm Dillane, a new collection with Puma is here to heal some of that familiar longing.
The latest KidSuper x Puma collection features two pairs of Brasils chopped and screwed with missing panels and scuffed suede, plus a V-S1 in distressed green suede, all dropping at the end of the month. All three shoes feature a personal message on the insole from Dillane that reads, “I remember when I first saw these cleats, I wanted a pair so badly… fast forward 15 years, I finally got my own pair!”
The two colorways of the Brasil, one in espresso brown and the other in dark crimson, both feature nylon panels poking through the discolored suede upper, creating a deconstructed window into the inside structure of the archive silhouette. Outside of their monochrome makeup, both pairs have the KidSuper Studio labels in gold on a lateral nylon cut-out panel and a classic brown gum sole
On the V-S1, KidSuper keeps the suede theme going, draping the Y2K-inspired soccer-turned-lifestyle shoe in distressed archive green with white on the Puma logo and character. The sole and heel counter are done in black, while the plastic back panels in bright green look like stop lights forever stuck on Go.
The KidSuper x Puma Fall/Winter 2025 Collection will release on August 30, 2025, through KidSuper, Puma, and select retailers online and in-store. Available in men’s sizing, the retail prices are set at $130 for the Brasil Panels and $150 for the V-S1.
