The Nike Ja 3 Releases Fall 2025

The Memphis Grizzlies sorely missed Ja Morant’s impact during the latter half of the 2023-2024 NBA season. Since returning from shoulder surgery, Morant has proven his dominance on the court, with Ja nearly averaging a double-double at this time. Helping him out in his return (even if he is sidelined at the moment) is his signature Nike sneaker, the Nike Ja 2. Although he and Nike just introduced his second signature model, Sole Retriever can confirm that, like Sabrina Ionescu, Ja will receive a third signature model during the Fall 2025 season.
Colorways for this new model will continue to follow similar themes, like the Scratch rendition and other Memphis Grizzlies-inspired makeovers. For its debut, the sneaker will appear in an NY vs. NY colorway, honoring the Nike-sponsored basketball tournament in NYC and continuing off the Ja 1 colorway following that theme.
Following this news, Nike and Ja Morant unveiled the sneaker ahead of the Grizzlies' first game in the 2025 NBA Playoffs. The sneaker incorporates Ja's name into the upper, both through a TPU monogram print and the Swoosh logo on the midfoot, forming "JA." Internally, the sneaker features a full-length ZoomX foam that is layered atop recycled ZoomX scrap.
The Nike Ja 3 will first release on July 22, 2025, in the NY vs. NY colorway through Nike and select retailers online and in-store. Available in men’s sizing, the retail price is $130.
