Ja Morant is on a quest for his first NBA Championship. With the 2025 NBA Playoffs underway, Morant's Memphis Grizzlies are battling the Oklahoma City Thunder in the first round. With Nike officially unveiling Ja's upcoming third signature sneaker with The Swoosh, the Nike Ja 3, a few more colorways of his current shoe, the Ja 2, are set to release first.
Alongside pairs like the Ja-Breaker and a duo of Kool-Aid collabs, the Nike Ja 2 is getting another Scratch-themed iteration, paying homage to his Memphis Grizzlies team. This pair, coming in rapid teal, university red, ale brown, and white, returns to the Grizzlies' roots in Vancouver, where they began as an expansion team in 1995.
The upper is covered in teal, accented by scratch marks on the medial and lateral sides. A red Swoosh adorns the sides, with Ja's logo in an ale brown and 12:AM labeling on the back heels, red on the left, and white on the right—a black sockliner and an all-white, Zoom Air-cushioned sole finish the shoe.
