Original Air Jordans returning always attract significant attention from sneakerheads and casuals who appreciate the history behind Jordan Brand’s original lineup. Thankfully, 2025 (technically) being Jordan Brand's 40th anniversary means that we’ve been treated to a slew of OG colorways, but that isn’t stopping in 2026. The very first Air Jordan 13 colorway will be coming back in Spring 2026.
During Michael Jordan’s final season with the Chicago Bulls, His Airness laced up the Air Jordan 13, cementing the model's place in the annals of MJ history. Though seven colorways hit shelves during the sneaker's original run, Jordan only laced up four high-top versions of the sneaker, including the returning Chicago colorway. Since its initial release in 1998, the Chicago (also referred to as True Red or Cherry) has been retroed twice, once in 2010 and again in 2017.

The 2025 retro of the Air Jordan 13 Chicago is expected to retain the classic colorblocking and material makeup as the original. White tumbled leather takes over the toebox and tongue, while the large white leather midfoot panel comes with dimples throughout.
The iconic cateye detail on the lateral heel is done in the traditional green look, while the suede paneling coating the heel and the base of the midfoot is rendered in a red shade. Finishing the sneaker is the red and black midsole and outsole containing Zoom Air cushioning in the heel and forefoot.
The Air Jordan 13 Retro Chicago will release Spring 2026 through Nike and select Jordan Brand retailers online and in-store. Available in full-family sizing, the retail price is set at $215 (men), $160 (GS), $100 (PS), and $85 (TD).
