The women's exclusive Nike Space Hippie 04 is scheduled to launch on Wednesday, July 3rd at a retail price of $130. The Space Hippie collection, inspired by life on Mars, is part of Nike's mission to "move to zero" - their journey toward zero carbon and zero waste in order to ensure a healthy planet. The sneakers are composed of what Nike refers to as "space junk" - a combination of factory scraps, recycled water bottles, recycled polyester, and other materials with a low carbon footprint. Every last detail of each sneaker in the pack was carefully chosen with its environmental impact in mind.
