New Balance Has 21 Different Sneakers Dropping in May For Grey Days 2025

In the ‘80s, New Balance started a trend that has defined the Boston-based footwear brand for decades — coating its sneakers in greyscale hues. So synonymous is the color grey with NB, and the brand has celebrated this neutral hue with a month-long celebration in May dubbed Grey Days. Following a teaser for the packed launch calendar, New Balance has officially unveiled its Grey Days lineup for May 2025.

In total, 21 different sneakers are partaking in Grey Days 2025, including the Minimus MT10, 740, 1000, Fresh Foam X 1080v14, 9060, CT500, Fresh Foam Trainer, 1906L Loafer, ABZORB 2010, 471, Andrew Reynolds’ Numeric 933, and the illustrious New Balance 1300JP.

The first week of drops, which takes place on May 1, will feature the first seven silhouettes mentioned above, while week 2, taking place on the 14th, hosts a release of the latest 1906L Loafer. First released in September last year, the 1906L has gone viral and instantly sells out upon drop. This version of the model borrows the classic raincloud and grey hues found on many Made in USA and core releases from the brand.

Week 3 of Grey Days 2025 has three drops planned, two on the 22nd (the 2010 and 471), and one on the 26th (Andrew Reynolds’ Numeric 933). The 2010 and 471 are both newly designed sneakers inspired by NB’s rich heritage, the 2010 taking from the 2000s-era of running and the 471 from ‘70s runners. For Andrew Reynolds’ first signature model with the label, it joins the greyscale color palette.

Finishing the month-long celebration in week 4 is the revival of the New Balance 1300JP. The model is famous for its cult-classic status in Japan and its restock every 5 years. Alongside these sneakers mentioned, and apparel, multiple other GR colorways on key models, like the 1906R, 530, 2002R, 550, 990v6, 327, and 574, will release during the month.
