The Kith x adidas Climacool is Available In-Store Now

3D printing in footwear has taken off in the last few years, though adidas was an early pioneer of this technology in the mid-2010s with its “4D” midsoles. The Three Stripes continued to iterate on this cushioning tech. Still, with the advent of Zellerfeld and other fully 3D-printed footwear from other major brands, adidas introduced the 3D-printed Climacool model late last year in ultra-limited quantities. Now, ahead of a restock of the model, the director of Kith Toronto, Jonathan Cran, has shared images of a Kith x adidas Climacool.
Like the Off White colorway that is releasing on the adidas CONFIRMED app tomorrow, May 2nd, the pair features an all-over 3D printed construction of an interwoven lattice structure. This filament comes in a monochromatic finish, but Three Stripes in a gradient black to grey is fused atop the midfoot. adidas 3D prints the shoe to construct the model and then “bakes” it to achieve the desired size.
The Kith x adidas Climacool is available now exclusively in-store at Kith. An online release has not been confirmed, though Jonathan Cran stated in a reply on X that they’re only available in-store. Retail pricing has not been announced.
