Reebok’s re-entry into the performance basketball world truly kicked off with the launch of its first new model in over a decade, the Reebok Engine A. Following the debut of the Metallic Silver colorway and previews of PEs for Reebok athletes like Matas Buzelis, the brand has officially unveiled the sneaker's next release: Black.
Featuring a sleek black and grey finish across its design, the Engine A has a split color scheme on its organic-shaped overlays: grey on the front half and black on the back. Below this sits a neoprene mesh that takes on a third shade, somewhat in between the black and grey used on the overlays. More grey hues are applied to the lace set, the Reebok Vector logo, and the ERS logo on the tongue's top.

A black molded heel counter contrasts with the 3D embroidered white Reebok Vector logo, which sits on a patch of fuzzy grey suede. Below is a black and grey ERS-cushioned foam midsole with four pillars visible in the heel and a tonal grey and black outsole.
The Reebok Engine A Black will release on May 15, 2025, through Reebok and select retailers online and in-store. Available in men’s sizing, the retail price is $120.
