New Balance has not shied away from introducing new designs, albeit inspired by vintage and retro silhouettes, as evidenced by the upcoming New Balance 2010. The 2000s-inspired sneaker draws from NB’s runners at the turn of the century and has been spotted in multiple makeups ahead of its debut in Dockside Indigo, including a Kith and Rich Paul collaboration. As part of New Balance’s extensive Grey Days Collection, which features over 20 different sneakers, the 2010 is getting a greyscale makeover.
It is not exactly the typical New Balance grey we are used to from core models in the brand’s lineup, but this Grey Days rendition of the New Balance 2010 features an arid stone upper coated in suede, mesh, and nubuck. A diamond-shaped mesh pattern in a cream-white hue sits on the base, while arid stone shades appear on the fuzzy suede overlays on the mudguard, midfoot, and heel. Below these overlays, but above the mesh, sit nubuck panels in a tonal finish, wrapping around the center of the sneaker and the edge of the toebox.

Laces opt for a cream finish to match the outline of the silver N logo on the midfoot, contrasting the metallic silver and blue NB logos atop the tongue. Underfoot sits a vintage cream foam midsole featuring Abzorb pods in the heel and a tonal rubber outsole.
The New Balance 2010 Grey Day will release on May 22, 2025, through New Balance and select retailers online and in-store. Available in men’s sizing, the retail price is $160.
