Aime Leon Dore Teases Two New Balance 860v2 Colorways for Summer 2025
Published
Teddy Santis and Aime Leon Dore can’t stop working on the New Balance 860v2. The duo of ALD and NB first partnered on the retro mesh runner in 2023 when they launched three colorways. They quickly followed this up with a pre-order for another three-pack that was later launched (and shipped) in early 2024. Now, after the latest three-pack of pairs hit shelves in Spring 2025, ALD has just teased new colorways of the 860v2 in its latest lookbook.
The 860v2 is done in two colors, one in pink and another in black, with multi-color accents. Starting with the pink pair, we see the mesh and synthetic leather upper doused almost entirely in this titular hue. Meanwhile, metallic silver hits the toebox overlays, midfoot panels, and the N logo. As for the second pair, ALD douses the sneaker in black, allowing the red, dark green, and volt green accents to pop on branding details and the sole unit.

Like other ALD x NB 860v2 pairs, both colors add Aime Leon Dore text to the tongue and feature the brand's crest on the heel tab. Co-branded insoles are also present, though not visible in the preview photos. Underfoot, both pairs feature the ABZORB and ABZORB SBS-cushioned sole unit, which has become a staple in NB's lineup as models like the 1906R and 2002R borrowed this exact tooling setup.
The two new Aime Leon Dore x New Balance 860v2 colorways will release sometime during the Summer 2025 season through Aime Leon Dore online and in-store. It’s unknown if they’ll offer the pair on pre-order like other colors, but more information should come to light in the coming weeks.
