I don’t think we can say it any louder — adidas is in love with animal print. The German sportswear giant has made it a trend to cover its sneakers in leopard and cheetah print, recently seen on the adidas Superstar, Adizero Evo SL, Campus 00s, Gazelle Indoor, and even on the Samba OG. Another running silhouette has joined the exotic party as the Adizero Adios OG comes coated in faux leopard print.
Originally released in the 2000s as a marathon runner, the Adizero Adios OG is one of the predecessors to adidas’ $500 super shoe, the adidas Adizero Adios Pro Evo 2, and it has enjoyed a quiet retro run in the last year. First was a collaboration with Wales Bonner, but quickly following that was a White Multi colorway with more in-line drops over the previous few months. This new iteration forgoes the traditional mesh construction, favoring a faux leopard print base layer, taking on a black, tan, and brown combo.

Above this sits faux cow print on the mudguard, tongue, and heel overlay, contrasted by solid black details on the Three Stripes, vamp, eyelets, and sockliner. Pops of green emerge on the lace set, and adidas logos on the tongue and heel tab. Finishing off the sneaker is a black and white EVA foam, and an Adiprene cushioned midsole and outsole.
The adidas Adizero Adios OG Leopard W will release in August 2025 through adidas and select retailers online and in-store. Available in women’s sizing, the retail price has yet to be announced.
