New Balance has been on a roll with its Made in USA lineup in 2025. The division, helmed by Aime Leon Dore founder Teddy Santis, brought back the 992 silhouette and continues to pump out hit colorways on flagship sneakers like the 990v6. Shortly after getting an early look at the upcoming Community Red colorway, a similarly colorblocked Community Mint pair has emerged.
While the aforementioned red pair coats the Made in USA model in red, purple, and grey hues, this pair comes in a fresh light mint blue mixed with cream, grey, and silver shades. The titular color is applied to the pigskin suede on the mudguard, eyelets, and heel overlay, while the base mesh has a silver-grey finish. Cream perforated paneling on the toe passes by the silver and white N logo and rests just below the silver collar overlay.

More New Balance branding is found on the vamp, tongue tag, and heel, including nods to the 990v6, NB, and its Made in USA origins. Final details include the tonal cream lace set, greyscale paneling on the tongue overlay, and a silver 990 stamp on the lateral heel. Underfoot sits a teal and mint FuelCell-cushioned midsole and a tonal rubber outsole.
The New Balance 990v6 Made in USA Community Mint will release sometime in 2025 through New Balance and select retailers online and in-store. Available in men’s sizing, the retail price is $200.
