All of The W is descending on Indianapolis for this year’s WNBA All-Star festivities, including Kelsey Plum of the Los Angeles Sparks. This year, she earned her fourth All-Star honor, and for that, celebrations are in order. Plum and her footwear sponsor, Under Armour, have prepared a special player-exclusive colorway of the Under Armour Breakthru 5 inspired by Kelsey’s favorite snack, berry smoothies.
This isn’t the first time Kelsey and Under Armour took inspiration from berry smoothies for an Under Armour Breakthru 5 colorway. Last year, Plum debuted a different version of this smoothie pair, though that never hit retail. As for her new Plumberry PE, the pair comes coated in a light pink hue across its upper to resemble the shade resulting from strawberries, blueberries, and raspberries blended together for a smoothie.
The smoothie effect also shines through thanks to the speckled finish on the leather midfoot cage, UA Flow foam midsole, and portions of the collar. Back on the heel sits a nylon pull tab with the classic red and white swirl pattern found on straws. Final details on the upper include the fuchsia hits on the nylon lace loops and sockliner, and Plum-Berry branding on the tongue tag. Inside sits a custom graphic of berries alongside Kelsey Plum’s signature logo.
Kelsey Plum’s Under Armour Breakthru 5 Plumberry PE will release July 18, 2025, through Under Armour and Dick’s Sporting Goods online and in-store. Available in women’s sizing, the retail price is set at $145. If you happen to be in Indianapolis on the 18th, Under Armour and Plum will celebrate the release with a smoothie truck located at 10 S Meridian St from 12 PM to 6 PM.
