Reebok is continuing its push back into the world of performance basketball with new colorways of its first new sneaker in this category in over a decade — the Reebok Engine A. Launching alongside the stealthy Black colorway is a new Energy Red rendition.
Contrasting pops of red and orange define this version of the Engine A. Deep metallic red hues envelope the organic-shaped TPU overlays that wrap around the toe, midfoot, and heel, while a lighter red shade is present on the mesh base. Pops of black emerge on the Reebok Vector logo on the tongue and heel tab, the latter embroidered in 3D atop a suede panel. Padded neoprene makes up the tongue, which also hosts a set of tonal red laces and a contrasting orange hit of ERS branding.

Below, the midsole features a gradient red-to-orange finish, with this ombre effect riding the edge of the sole unit. Reebok’s ERS tech is embedded in the heel, featuring four visible pillars. The look is complete with black Reebok logos on the lateral side, red ERS on the heel tab, and a tonal yellow on the outsole.
The Reebok Engine A Energy Red will release on May 15, 2025, through Reebok and select retailers online and in-store. Available in men’s sizing, the retail price is $110.
