The Vomero Plus is fast becoming a cultural movement. Though the shoe only debuted earlier this year, it’s already cemented itself as a firm favorite among runners and non-runners alike. It’s not hard to see why. With its insanely cushioned sole, you don’t need to have clocked a single 5K to appreciate just how good these feel on-foot. And if you still don’t have a pair in your rotation, the upcoming Nike Vomero Plus Anthracite Zebra might be the one to change that.
Unlike many other Vomero Plus colorways that stick to muted palettes, this one dials up the personality. The upper is built from engineered mesh (the same lightweight, breathable tech seen on the Alphafly) and comes dressed in a tonal Anthracite finish. A light grey Swoosh slices cleanly across the sides, while a new “Vomero Plus” badge sits proudly on the tongue. But the real star of the show is the chunky midsole, reworked with bold black-and-white zebra stripes.

It’s a wild aesthetic choice, but one that works. And beneath the playful look, it’s still an absolute workhorse – pun intended. Packed with Nike’s ZoomX foam – delivering the brand’s highest energy return to date – and finished with a durable, high-abrasion rubber outsole, it’s designed to go the distance. Reflective 3M detailing adds an extra flex for those late-night runs.
Slated to release in 2025 via Nike and select retailers both online and in-store, the Nike Vomero Plus Anthracite Zebra will be available in unisex sizing with a retail of $180.
