There’s a Black and Gum Nike SB P Rod 1 Retro Coming for Summer 2026

Out of all the Nike athletes with signature sneakers over the years, only a handful of reached the 10 model mark. Of course, Jordan has done it four times over, LeBron, Kobe, and Kevin Durant are on the list, and then there’s an outlier from the hoops world, pro skater Paul Rodriguez. Now, 20 years after the debut of Paul’s first shoe with Nike SB is back, and the retro model is getting some classic color combos for 2026.

The Nike SB Paul Rodriguez Zoom Air Low Black Gum is the latest colorway added to the 2026 P Rod 1 Retro lineup, joining a light brown tan colorway and a Dodgers-themed blue and grey colorway that P-Rod showed off recently on a Twitch stream. We haven’t seen official images or leaks of the new black and gum colorway yet, but if the OG 2005 P Rod 1 is any indicator, the shoe will likely be a monotone suede makeup with a gum brown outsole.

When Paul Rodriguez made the switch to Nike SB more than 20 years ago, he refused to sign until the higher-ups in Beaverton wrote a signature sneaker into his contract. From that point, Rodriguez ushered in a signature legacy at SB that has included shoes like the Janoski, Eric Koston 1 & 2, Ishod Wair Max, Nyjah’s four-shoe line, and more.
