Nike’s running sneaker archive is a deep history of the sport itself and the technology that has shaved seconds off marathons and sprints alike. But this year, one model from The Swoosh’s running catalog has stolen the show. The Pegasus Premium takes Nike’s legacy running line and supercharges it with the best technology Beaverton has ever seen, adding insane cushioning to every step without sacrificing support.
The latest colorway of the Nike Pegasus Premium SP takes inspiration from the changing seasons, bringing earth tones across the entire upper. The mushroom colorway changes slightly as it shifts from the synthetic fabric wrapping around the toe, side panel, and heel to the lighter mesh on the rest of the shoe. A bit of shine is added with silver on the Swoosh logos on the lateral side and medial heel, along with the reflective tongue tap. The laces and tongue are both white, but the sole matches the mushroom colorway, only interrupted by a see-through Zoom Air bag that runs the entirety of the shoe.
Most colorways of the Pegasus Premium feature additional “ZOOM” and “AIR” branding on the side panel and coordinates (which lead to Blue Ribbon Sports’ first retail location), but after Nike released images of a black and silver Pegasus Premium SP earlier this week, we found out these recent SPs (Special Project) represent a stripped-down, logo-free version of the silhouette. We’re big fans of clean design on this side, so we’re hoping for plenty more Pegasus Premium SP drops in the future.
The Nike Pegasus Premium SP Mushroom will be released in Fall 2025 through select Nike retailers in-store and online. Available in men’s sizing, the retail price is set at $220.Download the Sole Retriever mobile app for the latest updates on drops, raffles, news, and more from the world of sneakers and streetwear.
