From different roast types to the equipment used to grind and brew the drink, the intricacies of coffee culture are as deep, if not deeper, than that of sneakerhead culture. The two worlds collide more frequently than you think, such as the famous coffee shop out in Oregon, Deadstock Coffee, founded by a former Nike footwear developer. Speaking of The Swoosh, the label is prepping to drop a coffee-themed collection around performance runners, which includes the already-revealed Vomero 18 and now the Pegasus 41.
The storied Pegasus franchise joins this homage to coffee and seemingly the city of Copenhagen with the soft pearl and velvet brown colorway of the Peg 41. Like the aforementioned Vomero 18, the pair comes packaged in a special coffee bean-like bag featuring branding for the model and nods to the Danish city famed for its coffee culture. As for the sneaker's design, we see a soft pearl engineered mesh base wrap around the upper, while black hues contrast with the lace set, Swoosh, and sockliner.

Pops of color similar to that of a nice roasted coffee with a splash of cream are found on the mini Swoosh near the eyelets and on the Nike Running text on the insole. This hue is also applied to the ReactX and Zoom Air-cushioned midsole, as the top half of the sole unit comes with a gradient transitioning from caramel to brown as you move back. Finishing the sneaker are the brown paint speckles on the black midsole and the tonal black rubber outsole.
The Nike Pegasus 41 Coffee Bean will release in Fall 2025 through Nike and select retailers online and in-store. Available in men’s sizing, the retail price is $160.
