Nike Gives the Air Max Plus Golf a Classic Voltage Purple Makeover

When Nike retooled the Air Max Plus as a golf shoe, fashion-forward duffers around the world rejoiced. As golf continues to transition from a stuffy boys' club to a modern sport for younger, fresher athletes, the ability to throw on a pair of Jordans or Air Maxes and hit the course without sacrificing the sneaker game has been a godsend.

A new colorway of the Air Max Plus Golf is the latest in a line of OGs reimagined for the links. Taking the beloved Voltage Purple colorway, the golf version keeps the purple mesh upper with black TPU ribs, an orange Swoosh, and a white midsole with a purple hit in the middle. The golf version gives a hint to the retro nature of the colorway in the Air bubbles, giving them an aged yellow look instead of the traditional bright orange on the original.
