Happy Gilmore isn’t the only one bringing alternative footwear to the golf course these days. After decades of stuffy formality in a game that’s all about drinking with your friends and embellishing your skill level, the golf world has finally loosened up a little bit. In large part, this shift is thanks to brands like Eastside Golf, which has pushed the sport to communities previously excluded and ostracized. Continuing a long-running partnership with Nike, Eastside is back with a new collection for the course, including a beautiful rendition of the Air Max Plus.
The latest Eastside Golf x Nike collection features a traditional golf shoe in the Victory Tour 4 alongside a retooled Air Max Plus remixed for the golf game, both in steel blue aluminum colorways.
At first glance, the Air Max Plus looks like a traditional version of the beloved Air Max model, but as soon as you look a little closer, the details become clear, most notably, the change in the stability web on the side panels, redesigned to spell “Eastside.” A mix of light blue patent leather and mesh, the shoe also features a new sole with spike-like tread for golf performance, gold-tipped laces, and an Eastside Golf logo on the tongue tag.
The Victory Tour 4 takes a more subtle approach, with an upper made of white leather, a bright blue Swoosh on the side, and aluminum blue on the midsole and sock liner. The custom tongue logo and gold-tipped laces are present in both shoes.
Eastside Golf has had a long and fruitful partnership with Nike for years now, mostly collaborating on golf-ready Jordan colorways. Last year, the brand released its first Nike Sportswear pack, taking on the Victory Tour 3 and the Air Max 1 and adding a series of removable Swooshes. This time around, the one Victory Tour, one Air Max theme continues, but if you ask us, the Air Max Plus is a huge step up for the collaboration. The Eastside Golf x Nike Collection will be released October 2, 2025 through Eastside Golf, Nike, and select Nike Golf retailers in-store and online. Available in men’s sizing, the Air Max Plus Golf NRG will retail for $215, and the Victory Tour 4 will retail for $190.
