Happy Gilmore 2 x Subway x Timberland Golf Spike Boots Just Dropped Out of Nowhere
When we think of new golf shoes, there's only one place we go, the Subway sandwiches rewards merchandise site, of course. Talk about a hole-in-one.
This morning, sneaker, golf, and movie fans were alerted to a shock drop only available through the Subway website, offering limited pairs of Happy Gilmore 2 x Subway x Timberland 6-Inch Boot Golf Spikes for a whopping $450. A small price to hit the links like Happy.
The Happy collab is a pretty standard 6-inch tan Timberland boot, but the soles come equipped with built-in golf spikes so you don't slip and fall in front of your buddies when you go for the running start on the 10th tee box. The special edition boots also come with a custom hangtag with Netflix and Happy Gilmore 2 logos.
The Bogey Butters drop comes a couple of weeks after the Netflix release of the much-anticipated but not-so-well-reviewed Sandler sequel Happy Gilmore 2, and even with the unique Subway-exclusive release, they started selling fast. The boots were only released in men's sizes 9-11, and at the time of this writing, everything but size 9 was already sold out.
We haven't been buying many cold cut combos lately, so we're not sure how much of a discount you can get with Subway rewards points, but it's worth a shot if you're looking for that last pair of size 9s.
