2022 has continued Nike’s trend of pushing colorways of the Dunk onto consumers with the model seemingly having a release on a daily basis. While there have been wild renditions that switch up the materials or colorblocking, the most successful iterations are always two-tone looks that stay true to the OG releases from way back in the 80s. Keeping this trend alive, the Nike Dunk Low has just appeared in “Bone Red.”
Taking on an all-leather construction on the upper, the silhouette comes dressed primarily in white throughout with red accents hitting select details. This smooth vast grey leather wraps around the mudguard and takes over the eyestays, vamp, quarter panel, collar, and heel overlay while the Nike branding atop the tongue and via the Swoosh comes in a fiery red hue. Continuing this color scheme, the heel tab and tongue lining also partake in a vibrant red makeover as does the insole with its white “Nike” text stamped in the center. Underfoot sits a white Dunk midsole with tonal stitching details while the design is rounded out by a red rubber outsole.
The Nike Dunk Low Bone Red is set to release in 2023 through Nike and select NSW retailers online and in-store. Releasing in men’s sizing, the retail price is set at $110.
