James’ fourth signature basketball shoe is, undoubtedly, the heaviest of his line with good reason; James’ tanks made use of Nike’s Foamposite technology and housed a semi-visible carbon fiber shank plate for additional support. The Nike Zoom LeBron 4, launched in 2006, was a game-changer for the LeBron line. It was the first in the series to incorporate Nike's Foamposite technology, initially used in the Nike Air Foamposite One. This feature provided a seamless, durable, and molded fit, transforming the shoe into a robust piece of armor perfect for LeBron’s explosive style of play.
