After a string of ultra clean color combos, adidas is switching things up this season with a softer, more expressive take on its futuristic runner. The adidas Climacool Laced Wonder Taupe injects a dose of pastel personality into the silhouette – and here's everything you need to know.
Like the Cream and Grey Black versions that we peeped earlier this week, the Wonder Taupe is built around adidas’ 3D-printed lattice design – a single-piece structure engineered for flexibility, breathability, and max energy return. The upper swaps the usual monochrome look for a warm, dusty pink tone, accented with matching Three Stripes along the lateral side for that classic adi vibe.

Underfoot, that sole keeps air flowing and cushioning steady with every step, balancing modern aesthetics with everyday comfort. A minimalist tongue stamped with the adidas Performance logo completes the look, rounding out a shoe that feels both bold and understated at once.
The Climacool Laced is the spiritual sequel to the Climacool – the innovative model that broke the internet when it was first revealed last year. It takes that foundation and adds functionality by introducing a laced upper. Beyond performance, it also represents a step toward sustainability, as 3D printing allows adidas to reduce material waste, streamline production, and prototype designs with near-zero excess.
The adidas Climacool Laced Wonder Taupe is expected to release Holiday 2025 via adidas and select retailers both online and in-store, priced at $160. Like other Climacool Laced colorways, it comes in half sizes and fits slightly snug, so going up half a size is recommended.
