The Super Bowl is headed to the Bay Area this week, and San Francisco rapper Larry June is getting in on the hosting duties. With plenty of sneaker and clothing pop-ups coming to town, Larry decided to pop the trunk on a new preview of his upcoming adidas collaboration, hinting that the pair might hit shelves, or at least some seeding packs, for the local festivities.

We first got word of the Larry June x adidas Adistar Control 5 collab last month when the organic smoothie-obsessed SF rapper posted a photo of the pair to his Instagram story. Now, with the eyes of the world on The Bay, Larry is back with more looks at the shoe on IG, posting a photo of at least four pairs of the collab colorway in the front trunk of his silver Ferrari.

The colorway features a San Francisco Giants-friendly orange and grey gradient with some kale green accents that are already making us say good job, Larry. The Three Stripes has spent the past few months pushing the Adistar Control 5 through boutique exclusive colorways and collabs, making Larry’s pair a perfect fit.

So far, we’ve only seen a few social media previews of the Larry June x adidas Adistar Control 5 colorway, but we’re hoping to get more details on the release, sizing, and price soon. For all the latest collab news and drop info from adidas, download the Sole Retriever mobile app.
