San Francisco’s smoothie-loving, catchphrase-packed, old-school whipping underground rap legend Larry June posted a very organic sneaker preview to his Instagram story this week, hinting at a possible adidas collab for the new year.

After linking up with The Three Stripes for the adidas Adistar Control 5 editorial campaign in 2025, Larry teased a collab colorway in an SF Giants orange gradient with kale smoothie green accents on the tongue and midsole. Starting with a cream to orange gradient mesh that begins at the toe and ends at the heel tab, the structural panels are done in grey with reflective silver accents and more orange on the side panel Three Stripes.

The adidas Adistar Control 5 was a significant focus for the German sportswear giant in 2025, with a steady run of inline drops and collabs with Sporty & Rich, Clicks, and WOODstack. With Larry June adding “2026” with eyes and orange emojis on his photo of the colorway on IG, we’re guessing this collab is already slated for public release sometime this year.
