The 37th season of The Simpsons debuts next month, and in nearly four decades of animation domination, the show has come up with countless characters. Even if you can’t remember all of their names, you’ve probably seen the show’s Halloween Treehouse of Horror episodes and know Kang and Kodos. The glass bubble-bound octopus-like aliens appear in every Treehouse special and are now immortalized in a pair of The Simpsons x adidas Forum Lows.
Nearly neon, the retro basketball-shoe-turned-lifestyle-mainstay is given three shades of bright alien-green leather. The toebox and side panels get lime burst for the lightest tone, with slightly darker teal-ish green on the Three Stripes, heel panel, and ankle collar, and a darker green for the toebox accents and midsole. The Kang and Kodos references are seen throughout the colorway, but are most pronounced on the tongues, which feature the characters’ alien eyeballs staring out from the shoe. The pair also comes in a special slime green box with tentacles and Treehouse of Horror logos.
The Simpsons x adidas collaboration has been an ongoing bright spot for the German brand for years now, with special attention paid to Treehouse of Horror colorways. Last year, we saw a Werewolf Ned Flanders Rivalry 86 for Halloween, and in 2023, we saw the same Rivalry 86 modeled after Bart’s evil twin, Hugo.
The Simpsons x adidas Forum Low Kang and Kodos will be released sometime before Halloween in October 2025 through adidas and select retailers in-store and online.
