Nike is rolling out the inflated carpet for its annual Air Max Month celebration, all culminating in a holiday of Beaverton’s own design on March 26th, the day that the Air Max 1 first debuted in 1987. Every year, The Swoosh drops the latest Air Max model, significant retros from the line, and limited colorways across Air Max silhouettes. For 2026, Nike is tackling all of the above and more.

Nike Air Max 95 OG Big Bubble Paisley Neon
Nike is keeping up its dedication to the Air Max 95 this year, bringing a colorful cowboy print to the mix with neon hits of paisley print stacked up the wavy side panels. Starting with a take on the classic Air Max 95 Neon, the only change is a major one, replacing the subtle grey side panels with stripes of black, blue, green, and red bandana print.
Nike Air Max 95 OG Big Bubble Pink Foam (W)
Six years after the colorway first debuted, and only a year removed from its first big bubble release, Nike is bringing back the women’s exclusive Pink Foam 95 for an Air Max Day retro. The colorway keeps it classic with a grey gradient that starts in a dark rock shade on the T-toe and bottom side panels, and gets lighter as it moves towards the laces. Pink Foam hits are added to the lace loops, Air bubbles, and branding.
Nike Air Liquid Max Black Green
Air Max Day is the perfect occasion to introduce a new silhouette to the Air Max line, and this year, Nike is taking it to the rainforest with the amphibious new Air Liquid Max. Modeled after the poison dart frog, the debut black and green colorway features an armored upper and new point-loaded Air in the midsole, designed after the pads of a frog's feet.
Nike Air Max 90 Infrared 3M
For the classics category, Nike is bringing it back to 1990 for one of the best OGs in Air Max history. A new take on the classic Air Max 90 Infrared, 3M is added to the toebox and ankle collar instead of mesh. Premium hairy suede and soft leather fill out the rest of the shoe, but keep the iconic colorway intact.
Nike Air Max 1000 Black Volt
Originally released in ultra-limited numbers in August 2025, the Nike Air Max 1000 Black Volt is making a return for Air Max Day 2026. A raffle will go live on Zellerfeld's website on the 23rd, with winners notified on March 26. The 3D-printed silhouette is almost entirely black, with pops of volt green on the Air unit.
Patta x Nike Air Max 1 White Hyper Crimson
The final Air Max Day release, though it'll technically be the first since the drop is early in the morning for the US, is Patta's latest Air Max 1 Waves colorway. Following the drop for the Pure Platinum Hyper Crimson colorway on March 6, the White Hyper Crimson variant will be released on Patta's custom site, www.pattaxnike.com, at 8:00 AM EDT.
Ducks of a Feather x Oregon Ducks x Nike Air Max 95 Big Bubble Pack
The University of Oregon and Nike are teaming up with Ducks of a Feather, an NIL program that benefits student-athletes at UO, for a new collection of Air Max 95 colorways. One pair, labeled Lumber Yard, is inspired by the Deep in the Woods court used at the Ducks' Matthew Knight Arena, while The Woods colorway embodies the lush environment of the Pacific Northwest. Both pairs are dropping on Air Max Day via the GOAT app.
Nike Air Max 95 Big Bubble Greedy
Nike has slapped together various "What The" iterations of the Air Max 95 under the Greedy family, and the theme continues with an all-new pair in 2026. This big bubble Greedy Air Max 95 features the Reverse Neon greyscale gradient alongside accenting colors that nod to multiple iconic colorways of the silhouette.
