Air Max Month is in full swing, and the end-of-March Air Max Day finale is arriving next week with plenty of fanfare. The Air Max Day celebration features the first drop of the new Nike Air Liquid Max, a return to the Air Max 90 Infrared with 3M accents, and two Air Max 95s for good measure. Now, Nike is adding a curveball to the mix, announcing the restock of the 3D-printed Air Max 1000 with the help of production partner Zellerfeld.
The Nike Air Max 1000 Black Volt first dropped in August of last year, and like the rest of Nike’s one-piece printed Air Max 1000s, it sold out immediately. Constructed using proprietary technology from the team at Zellerfeld, the Air Max 1000 marks the first time Nike Air has been used in a 3D-printed silhouette.
