Let’s throw things back to 2015, shall we? Back in November of that year, Jordan Brand took the wraps off the Air Jordan 7 Nothing But Net. Inspired by a 1992 commercial featuring Michael Jordan and Larry Byrd, the pair applied the multi-color apparel MJ rocked in the ad spot to the AJ 7. Since then, there have been multiple callbacks to this colorway, including an Air Jordan 1 Low and Air Jordan 37. A decade removed from the original's release, and the Jumpman label is ready with an unofficial sequel: the Jordan MVP 92 Nothing But Net – and here’s everything you need to know.
For those who aren’t familiar, the MVP 92 was introduced earlier this year as a hybrid low-top inspired by the Air Jordan 7. Designed for everyday wear rather than the hardwood, it carries over the AJ7’s DNA in a sleeker package.
This version features a base decked out in bright concord, university red, and laser orange zig-zags, nodding directly to the vibrant fit that MJ rocked in the legendary ‘90s promo. Crisp white leather overlays balance the look, while rich black suede drapes across the toebox for contrast.

The Jumpman logo makes a cameo on the tongue and lateral collar, while underfoot, you’ll find a sculptural midsole infused with Air cushioning for day-to-day comfort and responsiveness. A “Nike Air” badge on the heel rounds off the nostalgic design and ties it back to Jordan’s golden era.
The Jordan MVP 92 Nothing But Net will release Holiday 2025 through Nike and select retailers. Available in men's sizing, the retail price is set at $145.
