Continuing their longstanding relationship, Kevin Durant and Nike will introduce the Nike KD 16 in 2023 with a “Vivid Orange” colorway.

Nike’s roster of talent when it comes to their Basketball division is unrivaled across the industry as the NBA's top talent is secured and has been for decades now. Even with a changing of the guard underway as newcomers like Ja Morant are stepping up to the plate and Kyrie Irving no longer having a relationship with the brand, one star has remained constant for well over a decade - Kevin Durant. Currently, on the 15th iteration of his Nike KD series, 2023 will bring with it his latest sneaker (aptly dubbed the Nike KD 16) which will launch in a “Vivid Orange” colorway.

While at the time of this writing we don’t have photos of what the sneaker will look like, we can assume Nike’s design team will upgrade the already packed Nike KD 15 with the latest tech and keep the same general shape we’ve seen from the line over the years. The launch colorway's official color code is set as “Vivid Orange Bright Mandarin,” so expect a vibrant orange-covered silhouette ready to take the hardwood floor.

The Nike KD 16 Vivid Orange is set to release on May 5th, 2023 through Nike and select retailers online and in-store. Coming in men’s sizing, the retail price is set at $150.
