As New Balance predicted, the 1906R is very quickly becoming one of its most popular silhouettes of the year. With coveted collaborations from the likes of Auralee and COMME des GARÇONS currently on the horizon and special editions such as the "Pouch Pack" coming very soon, the Boston-based sportswear company has now revealed another colorway that's sure to get every NB fan's heart racing. Dubbed the New Balance 1906R "Silver Black Royal," if you didn't know any better you could have easily assumed that this was plucked straight out of the archives.

Bearing a striking resemblance to the thisisneverthat project from 2022, this upcoming 1906R features a multi-material mesh and leather construction that's dipped in silver metallic throughout. Blue royal accents add a pop of contrast that's sure to turn heads wherever you go, and to the sides, the iconic "N" logo is crafted from slick black leather and works in tandem with the eyestays to form the N-LOCK lacing system. Down below, the ABZORB midsole is as clean as it gets, and it's infused with N-ERGY tech for the perfect balance of comfort, cushioning, and response, finalizing the very vintage aesthetic.

Expected to release on April 1st, 2023, the New Balance 1906R Silver Black Royal will be available in men's sizes via New Balance and select retailers with a retail price of $155.
