Jordan Release Calendar

The sneaker loafers are coming with us into the new year. After rocketing to the top of the trend market in the middle of 2025 before tapering off towards the end of the year, the sneaker loafer hybrid is still with us, and the shoe that started it all, the New Balance 1906L, is heading overseas for a tuxedo-colored Europe-first drop. They are a little more posh across the pond, after all.
The New Balance 1906L Black White is ready to add a bit of comfort to your next black tie affair, starting with a black leather base across the majority of the functional loafer, adding a bit of classic two-tone contrast across the white knit mesh tongue, and some shiny splashes on the black patent heel stabilizer. The “N” logo in the middle of the white toebox is also white, but the decorative forefoot strap returns to the black leather motif.

From the early months of 2025, the New Balance 1906L brought an upscale, office-ready energy to the sneaker market, dropping in a steady run of hard bottom-inspired colorways and influencing copycat sneaker loafers from brands like Nike, Hoka, Keen, and more. We haven’t seen a new colorway of the model since last fall, but that makes sense; most offices are quiet during December.
The New Balance 1906L Black White will be released January 7, 2026 through New Balance and select European retailers. As of now, there is no US release scheduled for this pair, but expect a date to appear in the coming weeks. Available in men’s sizing, the retail price is set at $160.
