UK Retailer size? Adds Protection Pack Fuzz to Exclusive New Balance 1906D Collection

If you ask New Balance, there’s no such thing as a Protection Pack. The New Balance collections featuring rough-fabric overlays with jagged-cut edges on the support panels are officially referred to as Refined Future collections, but among sneakerheads, the design that made the 2002R a must-have model at the turn of the decade will always be the Protection Packs. Whatever you call it, the pack is back in a new size?-exclusive collection of rugged colorways on the 1906D.

The size? Exclusive New Balance 1906D Protection Pack features two shoes in tonal monochrome, one in tan browns, and the other in shades of grey. Both shoes feature ripstop instead of mesh, and Cordura fabric overlays cut into rough patches stacked on top of each other. Designed with rugged natural terrain in mind, size? says the cold-weather-friendly colorways were made for “traversing the Valahnúkamöl coastline or cobbled city streets.”

A staple UK sneaker retailer for a quarter century, size? opened its doors in 2000, and spent 2025 celebrating its 25th anniversary with a series of collabs and exclusive colorways. The new 1906D Protection Pack is a follow-up to a three-pack of Refined Futures 2002R colorways, completing the theme from the start of the year.

The size? Exclusive New Balance 1906D Protection Pack will be released November 7, 2025 through size? In-store and online.
