Nike Mind Release Dates
Nike Mind technology is the first neuroscience-based footwear technology from The Swoosh. Silhouettes using Nike Mind tech feature 22 orange nodes that act like pistons and gimbals to provide a unique underfoot sensation. Nodes are mapped to anatomical pressure points on the foot to help you feel focused, calm, and more present.
The Nike Mind 001 and 002, the first two models to use the technology, debuted on January 8, 2026 for $95 and $145, respectively.
Nike used neuroscience to develop its latest shoe technology, Nike Mind, which is the key feature in the Mind 001 and Mind 002 silhouettes. Both models contain 22 nodes that act like pistons and gimbals. Each node is anatomically mapped to pressure points on your foot to help you feel more present in the moment and focused.
The tech was developed with the mentality of tapping into the mind-body connection by activating receptors in human feet. Nike also mentions that the tech can "help you get out of your head and stay more present in the moment.”
Another use for the tech is pregame wear for athletes. The calming sensation can help athletes refocus and prepare for the task in front of them. This also translates to everyday life, whether that's wearing Nike Mind around the house during daily tasks, walking outside and clearing your head, or just lounging with a relaxing sensation underfoot.
